Bonjour friends & family,

We'll I'm back in Aussie land and weather has been really really nice (actually 33 today!!!). 

I'm back with the old gals playing tennis on Wednesday & Thursday mornings, they are actually quite a lot of fun.  A good day for them is when nothing aches...  I still can't beat them however and they make me run all over the court and they all think it's quite hilarious :-)

John and I bought a car, a Subaru Outback, which was well needed, John's old UT (utility vehicule) was well overdue and was not a whole lot of fun to drive.  I've found out that I will need to pass a test to get my Aussie driving permit.  I have 3 months of "grace time" before I need to do it, which is good cause well, I might have ended up on the wrong side of the road last week......

I'm also trying real hard to learn how to use my Iphone, there were a few grrrrrr at the beginning, I'm getting better at it.  I had to go to the telephone store and have a very helpful guy help me with my list of "how do I do this" and "how come my password doesn't work"???? 

We were planning to go camping with Marshall this weekend but we've decided that he's still too energetic for that kind of experience. 

It's footy season right now, we're going to see a game Saturday night, I kinda enjoy them, it's a fun and full on sport to watch, they're quite crazy those Aussies....  We also went to see a local match last weekend and for some funny reason someone came home late and was feeling quite average the next day.  I guess you have to be careful not to catch a "bug" when you go to these games!!!!!

I wish everyone a Happy Easter and a wonderful long weekend.  Keep safe and eat lots and lots of chocolate (hint, hint John).

Bon bien je suis de retour en Australie et la température est vraiment vraiment belle (il fait 33 aujourd'hui).

J'ai recommencé à jouer au tennis avec mes p'tites vieilles les mercredis et jeudis matins, je dois avouer qu'elles sont pas mal le fun.  Une bonne journée pour ces dames est lorsqu'elles ont mal nullepart....  Je ne peux toujours pas gagner et en plus elle me font courir partout sur le terrain et elles trouvent ça pas mal drôle :-)

Nous nous sommes acheter une nouvelle voiture, une Subaru Outback, c'était vraiment une nécessité car la vieille UT (utility vehicule) de John tombait en morceau et c'était vraiment frustrant la conduire.  J'ai appris que je dois passer un test afin d'obtenir mon permis de conduire Australien.  J'ai 3 mois de grâce avant d'avoir à passer le test, ce qui est probablement une bonne idée car je me suis peut-être retrouvé sur le mauvais côté de la rue la semaine dernière.....

J'essaie aussi d'apprendre à me servir de mon Iphone, il y a eu plusieurs grrrrrrr au début mais je l'apprivoise tranquillement.  J'ai dû cependant aller au magasin de téléphone et un gentil jeune homme à bien voulu passer à travers ma liste des "comment est-ce que je fais...." et "comment se fait-il que mon mot de passe ne fonctionne pas"????

Nous pensions aller camper cette fin de semaine avec Marshall, cependant nous avons conclu qu'il a encore un peu trop d'énergie pour ce genre d'activité.

La saison de footy est commencé, nous allons voir une partie samedi soir, j'aime beaucoup regarder ce sport, c'est toujours vraiment le fun d'aller voir un match, ils sont fous ces Australiens.....  Nous sommes allés à une partie locale la semaine dernière et pour une raison qui m'est inconu, une certaine personne est revenu très tard et ne se sentait pas en pleine forme le lendemain.  Il faut faire attention lorsqu'on va à ces parties, des fois on attrape un virus!!!!!

Je vous souhaite tous une Joyeuse Pâques et une magnifique longue fin de semaine.  Soyez prudent et manger beaucoup beaucoup de chocolats.
