Hope you are all going well.
We had a real nice wedding; simple, intimate and close to the beach. I've included some photos. It was real nice to have Chanelle, Nikola and my parents here. Chan & Nik made a very heartfelt speech, there wasn't a dry eye in the room!!!! One of our friend videotaped our day and my parents are bringing a copy with them for the family, we want to try and put it on-line, I'll send the link once we get it done if you want to have a wee bit of a peak.
I turned the big 50 last week (surprisingly it didn't hurt too much) and John took me to a restaurant in the Hills overlooking the city, it was quite nice. He also, planned a surprise bday party with our friends last Saturday night, so for the last 3 weekends its been all about me (weekend before the wedding the girlfriends organised a Hen's show - bachelorette) so I'm kinda happy that we're back to our day to day routine. We haven't been on a honeymoon yet, since the family was here we are planning to go in June or July.
Thanks to everyone for the wedding and birthday wishes, sorry I haven't responded to every email as you've probably guessed it's been a busy last few weeks.
Some of you have probably noticed that I'm on Facebook!!!! I'm still trying to work it out, so sorry if I don't accept the friend request soonish or don't reply to the messages. At first, I was concerned that I was getting friends requests (I thought I had to reply to everyone) but now it's kinda fun John and I are looking at photos and reading up on everyone's life. I have to admit that it's nice knowing what everyone is up to :-)
Little Marshall (well not so little at 20 kilos) is keeping me busy, he thinks it's great fun jumping to try and take the clothes off the clothes line, he probably wants to help the little sweetheart, grrrrrrrr
It's Fall here, it does look a lot like Ottawa in some areas, leaves changing colours on trees, windy and it's a been chilier, between 15 and 18. It's quite funny the Aussies keep complaining that it's cooooold, hee, hee, hee they have no idea what cold is!!!

J'espère que vous allez tous bien.
Nous avons eu un vraiment beau mariage, simple, intime et près de la plage. J'inclus quelques photos. J'étais vraiment contente que Chanelle, Nikola et mes parents puissent venir. Chan et Nik ont livrés un discours très émouvant, tous les invités ont eu besoin de mouchoirs!!!! Un de nos amis a filmé notre journée et mes parents ont une copie avec eux pour montrer à la famille. Nous voulons mettre le lien en-ligne, donc aussitôt que ce serait fait je vais vous envoyer le lien si vous voulez regarder quelques moments.
Bon bien c'était mon tour de fêter mes 50 ans la semaine dernière (ça n'a pas trop fait mal) et John m'a amené à un restaurant dans les collines et nous avions une vue superbe de la ville, c'était vraiment beau. Il m'a aussi planifié un fête surprise avec nos amis samedi passé, donc les 3 dernières fin de semaine ont été juste à propos de moi (la fin de semaine avant le mariage mes amies m'ont organisé un bachelorette), je suis pas mal contente que nous sommes de retour à notre route normale. Nous n'avons pas fait de voyage de noce car la famille était ici, nous planifions un voyage en Juin ou Juillet.
Merci à tous ceux qui m'ont envoyés des souhaits de mariage et de fête, désolé si je n'ai pu répondre à tous les courriels, comme vous pouvez sûrement deviner j'étais pas mal occupé ces dernières semaines.
Certains d'entre vous ont probablement remarqué que j'ai un compte Facebook!!!! Je suis encore à l'étape de figurer comment ça fonctionne, donc je m'excuse si je n'accepte pas vos demandes d'amis rapidement ou si je ne répond pas aux messages. Au début j'étais préoccupé lorsque je recevais les demandes d'amis (je croyais que je devais répondre à tous) mais maintenant je trouve ça le fun, John et moi regardons vos photos et ont lit vos messages. Je dois admettre que c'est intéressant de voir ce qui ce passe dans vos vies :-)
Le petit Marshall (pas si petit il pèse 20 kilos) me tient très occupé, il s'amuse à sauter pour enlever le linge sur la corde à linge, ce petit amour veut probablement m'aider, grrrrr.
C'est l'automne ici et certains endroits ressemblent beaucoup à Ottawa, les feuilles changent de couleur, il vente et il fait un peu plus frais, entre 15 et 18 degrés. Les Aussies trouve qu'il fait froid, hi, hi, hi, je trouve ça drôle, ils ont vraiment aucune idée c'est quoi le froid!!!
Bon bien tourelou, passé une belle semaine et j'espère que vous avez un beau printemps à Ottawa :-)
