Hello my Canadian friends,

It's 39 degrees today, that means it's a stay in kinda day.

John and I have a new little member living with us, his name is Marshall, he's a German shorthaired pointer and he's 9 weeks old.  As you can see from the photos he's quite cute :-)

We got him home last Thursday and it's been like having a baby, lots of crying and whining.  He's quite playful and has a real good temperament.  Last night was the first night he almost slept thu, only woke up once, cried a bit and got back to sleep, yippee, hopefully we're almost there.....

He loves to play with the curtains, biting the shoes, smelling or licking everything in the house, oh no he's almost just ran away with the computer cord!!!!!

I am determined that he will be a bilingual dog, actually got him to quiet down yesterday afternoon with some French music, John said I bored him but I'm adamant that he really likes it :-)

Tomorrow night we're going out for dinner and we had to find a dog sitter, I think we're a bit over the edge or maybe it's the older parents syndrome.....

Bonjour mes amis du Canada,

Il fait 39 degrés aujourd'hui, donc c'est une journée pour rester à l'intérieur.

John et moi avons un nouveau membre qui vit avec nous, son nom est Marshall, il est un German shorhaired pointer et il a 9 semaines.  Les photos parlent d'elle-même il est adorable :-)

Nous l'avons eu jeudi passé et c'est comme avoir un bébé à nouveau, beaucoup de larmes et de pleurnichage.  Il aime beaucoup jouer et il a un vraiment bon tempérament.  Il a presque passé sa nuit hier soir, il s'est réveillé seulement qu'une fois, quelques pleurs et il s'est rendormi, yé, en espérant que ça s'en vient.....

Il adore jouer avec les rideaux, mordre nos souliers, sentir ou tout lécher dans la maison,  oops il est presque parti avec ma corde d'ordi!!!!!

Je suis déterminé qu'il va être bilingue, je l'ai calmé hier après-midi en lui faisant écouter de la musique francophone, John dit que je l'ai ennuyé mais je suis convaincu qu'il a adoré :-)

Demain soir nous sortons pour souper et nous avons une gardienne qui viendra s'occuper de lui, j'pense qu'on exagère un peu ou bien c'est simplement le syndrome de parents un peu plus âgé......
